1 JSR Day JSR Activity 18th Feb 2017 Students of B.Sc (MPCs, MECs & MSCs) visited Don Bosco Nav Jeevan orphanage, AIM FOR SEVA Orphanage and Bala Sadan Girls Orphanage. The Students planned various activities for the children. Our Josephietes sponsored few basic requirements handed over to the children.
2 Industrial Visit Industrial visit to Vishakhapatnam 4th to 7th February 2017 Students are well equipped with the practical knowledge of manufacturing, production and working conditions of a product.
3 Conference National Conference on Revolutionalising Business practices in Digital Era(NCRBD) 29th November 2016 The objective of the conference is to bring together academicians, corporate persons, research Scholars, students and practitioners in the field of Management and Information Technology to a common forum to explore the transformations in Management Practices and Technology in Information age.
4 Exhibition Informatique Exhib 01st September, 2016 New innovative ideas for all the UG-Ist year students exhibited different devices related to Hardware, Software applications and Networking concepts.
5 Exhibition Exhib on models in the subject of dbms 11th August 2016 Students prepared models for various concepts and demonstrated it with relevant explanation.
6 Club Activity IT Quiz 9th August 2016 All the Students from I,II and II years of different courses participated in the Quiz.

A seminar on “Project Guidance”for B.Sc III year students. The Seminar covered different phases of SDLC , Data Flow and UML diagrams and students were been given inputs on how to prepare the Final Project Report .

Cyber Crime against Women
26th February , 2016 All the panelists actively participated in the discussion and have expressed their views on the advent of information technology and internet, cyber crimes with the all the benefits of anonymity, reliability and convenience on issues against women.
10 JSR Day JSR Activity 27th February 2016 Students of B.Sc I Year visited Durgabai Dheshmukh Mentally Retarded and physically Handicapped School. They spent all the day with them conducting different competitions. The visit helped the students to realize that they need to be more responsible and sensitive towards society.

The guest lecture on career perspective in Hardware and Networking was organized by the department for the final year students of NHAEM and B.Sc (Networking students).
The resource person had delivered a talk on career opportunities available in industry and the preparedness of our students by enhancing various industry required skills.
13 Social Service Activity, International Literacy Day Programme 8th September 2015 As part of the Social Service Activity, celebrated Literacy day in the college campus to the office subordinates by giving the basic knowledge of using the computers like mail creation, message sending, Red bus usage, booking the tickets so on and so forth by students of II, III B.Sc (MPCs, MECs & MSCs)/ III,V Semesterand faculty conducted by the Department of Computer Science, Dept of Languages .
14 Industrial Visit Industrial Visit to ISRO, Sriharikota, Nellore 11th September , 2015 Faculty members and students visited all the facilitates available in SDSC- SHAR accompanied by 3 Guides, starting from Space Museum, the SDSC Library, the Mission Control Center where the satellite operations for launching happens, followed by propellant filling stations, first launching pad, second launching pad, Satellite Signal station, the forest range, wild life sanctuary and the sea around the island of SHAR.

Students got a sound knowledge of which technology plays a vital role in human mankind and the area that they are interested to explore on.

The Seminar on VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) was conducted to enrich the students with the current happenings in electronics. In the seminar the topics like VLSI basics, Moore's Law, VLSI Applications, Design Process, Design Methods like FPGA and PLDs, Standard Cell (Semi Custom) and Full Custom Design and VLSI Circuit Analysis, etc. were discussed.
