FROM THE PRINCIPAL’S DESK
Dear Friend! Welcome to St. Joseph’s Degree and PG College!
We are glad that you have visited us; we invite you to become part of a college with potential for enrichment, Growth and excellence. The Essence and hall mark of this Institution is to constantly engage ourselves in the responsibility of FORMING, REFORMING, TRANSFORMING AND EMPOWERING our students to become positive agents of change.
The life of St.Joseph’s College began in the year 1997 and soon it sprang up to a prestigious position achieving great laurels from its students, alumni and academic fraternity. From a
modest start with 130 students the college has grown in strength and stature to more than
1800 students both undergraduate
and post graduate courses.
Rev. Fr. Vincent ArokiadasThe college has obtained permanent affiliation of the Osmania University in 2007. It is the first unaided and youngest college to get Autonomous status in 2011 under the OU jurisdiction & was granted 2(f) and 12 B by UGC. We offer a well - structured curriculum, delivered by well qualified and dedicated teachers, who instill not just the knowledge but the right attitude & skills
in the students to become global citizens.
As William Butler Yeats an Irish Poet of the 20th Century said “Education is not the filling of a pail but lighting of a fire”. We at St.Joseph’s engage ourselves in igniting the minds and setting fire in the hearts of the young leading them to unreached
horizons. However higher we soar our feet are firmly grounded as we reach out in the welfare of Christian minorities and weaker sections of the society. I hope you will enjoy your visit to St.Joseph’s portal which introduces you to the new dimensions of
the college and endorses its richness of being an academic leader.
