| The Department of Computer Science Celebrated National Science Day on 28th Feb 2024 . The events for the day were designed as per the theme "Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat" Mrs. M.Kiran Jyothi , Head , Dept of Computer Science spoke about Indigenous technologies and how they contribute towards vikasith bharath The students of BSc I year gave presentations on the Green technologies, its impact and challenges . The department organised Group Discussion for BSc III year Students on the theme " Green initiatives taken by the Government of India". The students understood about Indigenous technologies and their impact |

| Department of Computer Science organised 3rd Industry Academia Meet on 17th February 2024 from 10.00AM am to 2.00PM in the Board Room,with an objective to review and redesign the curriculum as per industry needs. The Experts from Academia, industry, and Alumni .gave suggestions on Cloud technologies , Web Technologies and Python . A detailed discussion took place on New program BSc(Data science) . Experts gave suggestions on the data science courses that need to be offered for better Employability.They also shared inputs on mathematics and statistics courses required for Data Science program . |

| Parents –Teacher Meet B.Sc (MECS)-III year ,B.Sc (MPCS) I year,B.Com(IT) I year Dated: 10 th Feb,2024.The main aim of the meeting is to interact with parents about their ward’s performance in the academic year and also to gather suggestions/feedback about working of college. Class Incharges Mr.M.Sai Ramakrishna ,Mr.B.Raju, Mrs Swathi organized the meeting in the college campus at 9:00AM and continued till 1:00PM. The attendance percentage and Internal I Marks were also shared with parents and also interacted with parents. |

| The Power bytes club from the Department of Computer science has organized a Professional Development Program program entitled “Xcel Skills” for Administrative Staff on 27th January 2024, from 10.00 am to 11.30 am. This event was conducted to impart knowledge & Hands on experience on Advanced Excel Skills among the Administrative staff of St. Joseph’s Degree & PG College. |

| The Department of Computer Science club- Power Bytes conducted a comprehensive E-Waste Management- “EcoByte - Waste to Worth” on 19th Jan 2024 in the college campus encompassing various engaging events and activities aimed at raising awareness, collecting electronic waste, and promoting sustainable practices. This multifaceted approach involved video creation, poster campaigns, e-waste collection drives, and radio broadcasts. |  |

| The Department of Computer Science Computer Club – “Power Bytes Club” is organized an awareness session on the topic “Strengthening the Digital Defenders “ on World Computer Literacy Day (02/12/2023) in association with Society for Cyber Security Council (SCSC), Resource Person :Mr. Bhanu Yachaneri , Senior Manager, SCSC Cyberabad BranchThis session served as an enlightening platform to address digital threats and foster a culture of cyber resilience. The insights gained from the session are expected to empower faculty members, administrative staff, and non-teaching faculties in navigating the digital landscape securely. |

Informatique Exhib - 2019 is conducted on 27th August 2019 targeting all the UG first year students to showcase their IT skills in different areas of their domain. 37 teams participated in this exhibition and competed with each other to win the first, second and third prizes. Consolation prize is awarded based on the audience poll by voting the best team whom they feel. |
