2024 in the Board Room. The main focus was to review and update the curriculum based on industry
requirements. Esteemed experts from academia, industry, and alumni shared valuable suggestions,
focusing on the new program BSc (Data Science) and proposed data science courses to elevate the
employability prospects of students.

The Experts from Academia, industry, and Alumni .gave suggestions on Cloud technologies , Web Technologies and Python . A detailed discussion took place on New program BSc(Data science) . Experts gave suggestions on the data science courses that need to be offered for better Employability.They also shared inputs on mathematics and statistics courses required for Data Science program .

| INDUSTRY ACADEMIA MEET
an Industry - Academia Meet was organised by Mass Communication and Journalism (MCJ) department at St. Joseph's Degree and PG College on January 20 . The representatives from the industry and academia have discussed holistically, emphasizing primarily on the latest job trends. The panel headed by Principal Rev. Fr Anthony Sagayaraja, Director (MCJ) PL Vishweshwer Rao, HoD (MCJ) Glen D'Silva and faculty members and industry experts have participated in the meeting Industry experts spoke about new Innovations and Technologies in the Industry to be included in the syllabus. The meeting had successfully concluded on the future course of action required and new implementation processes to be adopted for the betterment of the students' and their growth. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Laasya Madhukar Addl. HOD recognising the efforts of the panel members and the participants.
