To enhance and polish the skills of the students, the Department of Computer Science has introduced Computer Club.Computer Club is maintained by the team consisting of faculty and student cordinators.

The club conducts the following events

  • Paper presentations
  • Quiz
  • Brain Teasers
  • Web Harvest
  • Hodge Podge

Topic “ IT Quiz ”

All the Students from I,II and II years of different courses participated in the Quiz.About 62 teams registered for this event with a team of three participants each. The “IT Quiz” went on with 3 rounds namely Round 1-Entry test, Round 2- pictures identification and the Round 3-Rapid Fire. Three teams were the winners in the Quiz.

The Department of Computer Science conducted a activity on “Upcoming Technology Innovations in Computer Science – A study tour” as a part of Computer Club activity. This activity enhanced the latest and the upcoming technology innovations in the field of Information &

Students got a sound knowledge of which technology plays a vital role in human mankind and the area that they are interested to explore on. The videos related to each technology is shown to the students to educate them with the devices and their working process and the futuristic studies related to it. The resource person covered the technologies like Google Glass, Hybrid operating rooms, digestible sensors, the orderly robot, a health check chair, fingertip surgery, Self driving car by Google, Self parking Audi car, flying car by Aero mobile, Solo – The Smart Drone in 3D Robotics, Mercedes Benz – the future truck 2025, SPOT – A four legged robot, Hover bike, 3D printer, etc.

It was a spectacular study tour for the students and they inspired to be a part of the computer club and take part actively in the forth coming club activities.
