The Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) is a Post-Graduate course offered as : Two-year four semesters Full time programme

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

M.B.A. Candidate seeking admission into Full Time M.B.A. programme must be:

  1. Bachelor degree holder of Osmania University or a degree recognized by the university as equivalent thereto and /(or) as per the rules laid down by the University;
  2. The candidate seeking admission must qualify in the Entrance Examination, conducted by the appropriate authority in the year of admission as per the norms prescribed by the University.
  3. The admission of Non-resident Indians and candidates admitted in lieu of them will be as per the University Rules in force on the date of the admission.

Best Practices Of The Department


Bridge Courses

BBA Programme is chosen by both commerce and non-commerce students. Since non commerce students do not have the exposure to commerce or accounting practices a bridge course is offered by the institute. This Bridge Course helps the students to understand better and gives a confidence to students to be on par with others.

Departmental Library

A spacious library with titles based on University and Industry are available to the students. The department is having adequate number of titles to cater to students, faculty and alike. The journals. Magazine and other resources help one and all especially economically backward students who cannot afford to have a personal copy

Entrepreneurship Development Cell

The basic motto of any business school is to churn out as many number of entrepreneurs as possible so that in turn create employability. Taking a cue out of this the department has established an Entrepreneurship Development Cell with a prime objective is to create more of job givers rather than job seekers. The cell conducts various programs and activities to inculcate the interest by inviting noted industrialists and employees from and government sponsored agencies to fine tune the knowledge and skill levels.

Experiential Learning

Industrial Visits are conducted by the institute gives a glimpse on how an organization functions be it manufacturing, sales, etc. These visits make the students to understand the concepts in action and they are an extension of what is being taught in the class room. As a matter of the fact the students can learn new and innovative which are practiced by interacting with employees.

Incremental Growth Records

These records also called as continuous evaluation of the students gives a big picture of the student’s academic achievements. This practice makes the students to improve better and become best. On the other side; those who are lagging are given additional hand holding based on the requirement.

Internships/Projects

Internships and Projects are designed to help the students to have industry experience on a first hand basis. These make the students to fine tune them to perform their job to the best of employer satisfaction apart from honing their skills and abilities and to gain new ones.

Paper Presentations by Students

Nothing is ever achieved in this world without research. As a matter of fact all products and services culminate from research. The paper presentations are meant to create an attitude of curiosity and investigative mind. Some students who can opt for academics as a career these presentations make them better.

Certificate Courses

Certificate Courses are aimed to complement academic pursuits and supplement the knowledge and skills required for employability. These certificate courses can be chosen by the students based on their electives in order to enhance their abilities. They can choose at least 2 certificate courses to fine tune their skill set. Several MOU’s were signed with International and National agencies to give students a choice and versatility.
